Mica compound PP is modified by a mica filling to improve mechanical rigidity and heat-resistance. It is produced by modifying a variety of base PPs, including HIPP (High Isotactic Polypropylene), and by Hanwha Total's special processing technologies. These products are commonly used in products such as air conditioner fans and the like, requiring high rigidity, high heat-resistance and low bending.
Characteristics
Mica PP is available in several varieties for requirements of high rigidity, ultra-high rigidity and so forth. It can be adjusted to different molding conditions, and we also produce a mica PP with improved rigidity due to blending with G/F.
Applications
Mica PP helps improve rigidity and impact-resistance and has remarkable heat-resistance. It also offers high-temperature strength, excellent size stability and outstanding electric properties.
For these strengths, it is proper for the following uses:
▶ Automobile parts, valves, door assemblies, etc.
▶ Electric and electronic parts, such as in air conditioner fans.
