AKROMID® B28 GF 25 9 FR natural (8066) is a PA6 with flame-retarding properties and 25% glass fiber reinforcement.
It achieves V0 classification at thicknesses of 1.6 mm and above by using a FR system which is free of red phosphorous and halogens.
The product was developed for applications in E-Mobility and offers outstanding long-term heat-aging stability as well as mechanical and economical advantages to conventional products that were designed for thin wall E&E applications.
Typical applications
Suitable for applications that have to resist high forces and loads.
e.g. Bus-Bar holders, cable ducts and brackets for cables with high mass and high currents.
