LDPE PREADD AB 172

PREADD AB 172 is a PE-LD based antiblock masterbatch developed for polyethylene films over 35 μm in thickness.

The addition of PREADD AB 172 gives following advantages to films:
- Increased heat conductivity accelerates the cooling of the film. This can lead to capacity increases especially in cases where the natural cooling is insufficient.
- Antiblocking effect is achieved already at low addition levels.
- Colour change in the extruder takes place faster because of the purging effect.
- Printability is improved.
- Heat sealing time and temperature can be lowered.
- Shrinking time of shrink films can be shortened especially when shrinking is done by infrared radiation. This is a valued advantage e.g. in packaging deep frozen products.

PREADD AB 172 is approved for use in contact with foodstuffs according to FDA and BgVV regulations without limitations.
