This high performance PE 4710/PE 80 HDPE, ethylenehexene copolymer is tailored for demanding pressure pipe applications that require:
• Good long-term hoop strength
• Good resistance to slow crack growth
• Excellent resistance to slump
Typical applications for H525 include:
• Municipal, industrial and mining pipe
• Oil and gas-gathering pipe
When blended with an approved black concentrate, this material meets or exceeds these standards/specifications:
• ASTM D4976 – PE 235
• ASTM D3350, Cell Class PE445574C
• ASTM D3350, Cell Class PE445575C
• NSF Standards 14 and 61 for potable water
• PPI designations PE 4710 and PE 80
